My name “Sam” means “Listener” (in Hebrew), and that’s just one of many feelings that my clients get from working with me.
Creativity, UX thinking, Production, Evangelism, Presenting, Inspiration – I make things happen.
ABOUT DSOUNDZ MEDIA :
Dsoundz Media is a small consultancy, specialised in helping brands (people, celebrity’s, companies, organisations and charity’s) to understand and interact with people (their key audience) by developing relevant strategies for engagement, either online or in-person.
ABOUT SAM DOWNIE :
I was born in Exeter (Devon) and raised in Bristol (SW England). Since childhood, I grew up surrounded by music, theatre and television – my father was a Television Director (who directed Coronation Street in the mid 1970′s) then turned Theatre Director and Theatre writer. My mother worked as a Teacher at schools.
My great grandfather was Major William Downie from Scotland who was the 1st person in the USA to find Gold (circa 1845), then founded “Downieville” a small mining town in California, which became America’s first Capital (in 1851) – here’s the Wikipedia entry. Major Downie’s travels are documented in his 1893 autobiography, “Hunting For Gold” - Click HERE to download the pdf file from Google Books.
